Lighting
is a very important aspect of the success of your borescope inspection. We
offer a variety of light sources that are aimed at just about any budget
and specifications: AC or DC only power requirements, physical
size, portability, wattage and many other specifications.
Browse through this page to get an idea of all
that we have to offer. Depending upon your testing requirements
there is almost
certainly light source that would be suitable.
Note: We do not catalog the expensive 300 Watt Xenon sources as in many
cases these light sources alone exceed the cost of many borescopes.
However, if you requirements dictate such expense and you have the budget,
we do offer some models that are not shown here in our standard catalog.

100 WATT
PORTABLE LIGHT SOURCE AC/DC Operation P/N LSP1
Our portable 100 watt light source (section on left with
fan, P/N LSP1) shown with our AC adapter (right/top side of photo, P/N
LSP1A) attached to the back of the unit. The LSP1 includes a mechanical
dimmer control and AC adapter is easily removed and the light source portion
can be attached to a 12 volt battery that you supply or our optional 12 Volt
Gel cell battery attachment (not shown, P/N LSP1B).

LIGHT
SOURCE 150 Watt P/N FOI-1
150 Watt, Quartz Halogen light source with integral dichoric
reflector focuses maximum light intensity onto the fiberoptic bundle while
reducing the IR wavelengths. Features a variable light intensity control
with 3200 deg. K color temperature at full output. Small and compact at 7.5
lbs and 7.5"L x 7"W x 6.5" H heavy duty sheet metal
enclosure. Standard is 110 VAC operation however 220 VAC optional- please
specify when ordering. Includes a quiet ball bearing fan. Our most popular
unit and recommended for use with all borescopes. Uses standard EJA or EKE
21 Volt DC bulbs available from most lighting suppliers.

LIGHT
SOURCE 250 Watt P/N LS250
250 Watt, Quartz Halogen light source. Small and compact,
110 VAC operation, variable light intensity control. Recommended for use
with 6mm and 8mm Articulating Fiberscopes when additional light is needed.

LIGHT GUIDE
CABLE P/N BLC-1
 
Designed for rugged use- includes stainless crush resistance
housing and ACMI connectors on both ends (Male shown on left, Female style
on right) This light guide cable is required for use with all of our rigid
scopes that need to couple the light source to the light post on the scope
for high-intensity lighting. Standard Length is 5' and housed in a crush
resistant and protective sheath to withstand rugged usage. This lightguide
can also be purchased as an "extension cable" for flexible
borescope or fiberscope owners that wish to get additional distance away
from the light source depending upon the working environment. |
