General Purpose Flexible BorescopeThis General Purpose Flexible Borescope can be used for a wide variety of applications for a relatively low cost. Designed with a "rigi-flex" semi-flexible protective sheath that allows the scope to serve in both rigid and flexible viewing applications. Our FFPACK1 includes a portable light source, choice of either the AC or Battery power adapter, padded carrying case, and a removeable mirror assembly for viewing at right angles. Our P/N FFSLA-1 General Purpose Articulating Borescope has the added articulating function- at a very reasonable price. This model is designed like the P/N FFSL1 above with a "rigi-flex" semi-flexible protective sheath AND uses the same image bundle, eyepiece and articulating capability as our more expensive Articulating Flexible Borescopes shown below. All articulating scopes are carefully manufactured by hand using some very specialized materials and processes. The heart of each scope is the 1mm diameter coherent optical bundle which contains 10's of thousands of micron diameter high quality glass fibers. Each flexible scope is covered with a stainless steel braid for protection of the optical components inside and abrasion resistance for a long service life. The light bundle is permanently attached to provide optimum light transmission all the way to the distal tip for bright clear images of your inspections. The DIN standard size eyepiece has adjustable diopter focusing and can be easily upgraded to video operation with the attachment of our FVA series video adapters.

Each 4 way articulating scope is designed for easy use with one-hand operation design. The brake mechanism is automatic and all directions (up, down, left, right) are articulated between the thumb and index finger on one hand. Installed in this line of scopes is an increased size coherent fiber bundle of 1.5mm diameter which contains over 25,000 individual glass fibers. Each flexible scope is covered with a stainless steel braid for protection of the optical components inside and abrasion resistance for a long service life. The light bundle is permanently attached to provide optimum light transmission all the way to the distal tip for bright clear images of your inspections. The DIN standard size eyepiece has adjustable diopter focusing and can be easily upgraded to video operation with the attachment of our FVA series video adapters.
